Graphic design, website updates and fantasy illustration
Guys! Since the last time I have talked to you so much has happened! Tons of graphic design work both for fun and for clients, big website updates not only to the content, but to the look as well, and I’ve kept drawing fantasy related illustrations, with some help!
First I want to talk about some of the things I have been doing just for fun. Instead of endlessly browsing on my phone when bored I have start designing in very small experimental ways. What I will leave below is one of those examples, I made a series of three designs like this. Testing out Photoshops new grain adjustment layer. Plus, I have been pretty anxious to use both the fonts on this poster (New Spirit and Dharma Gothic). I hope like the one I have uploaded here, and if you want to check out the rest you can either visit my Instagram @cooper.judah.art where I give a more in depth explanation, or check out my experimental design & illustration gallery on my portfolio page.
I hope you enjoy the way my website looks now! I uploaded custom fonts, which was super fun. I actually heard artist Kel Lauren talk about her website on her podcast, and I had never considered using the fonts that I use across my social media on here. I enjoy the look a lot, the headers being a font called amagro, known for being, simple and sharp. The body text is a font called neue kabel. I have yet to find a job neue kabel can’t do!
I also have updated several of the pages on my portfolio page, including a new album cover I did for the Florida rock band Occasions! I will leave a little piece of that right below this paragraph, specifically one the the graphics I made them for social media. Make sure to go check out the full project on my portfolio page, where you get to see the full album cover early!
Lastly, as always, I have been illustrating. Today I leave you with no preview or sneak peek on what I have been up to, but just know that I have now recruited some other fellow artists to help with the production of The 9th TCG, the card game me and my brother are putting together. We are super excited to bring on some new artists, for their variety of skills and of course to speed up the project! You can follow The 9th TCG on Instagram @the9thtcg - some pretty cool stuff will be posted there in the coming months!
As always, thank you so much for reading this. Thanks for hanging out. God bless. I will talk to you soon enough!
