Hi! So good to see you again! So many cool things have happened since we last caught up! The first being I went to a skateboarding competition in Des Moines. I have a project I am working on currently, one that has been on my mind for a long time. Now I am getting ready to start that project, and I thought the best way to get my feet wet and feel inspired was to attend a skate competition.

Wow! What a month July has been already. I am writing this so early comparatively than when I typically feel motivated to but I am not sure when I will find the time otherwise! A large part of this is because I am working on a rather large branding project. Admittedly it is only large because I am taking on a design style I have never tried before, and while that is super scary I am really excited to learn (and get the project off my plate).

Hi! I know I committed to writing a blog post once a month, but I wasn’t home for a single weekend in May! Lots of things to celebrate, starting off with weddings! I had the opportunity to go do photography at a wedding in Louisville this past May, which is always such a joy. Hi! Welcome to spring! It always feels crazy this time of year with everyone wanting to get out of their house post winter, I have a lot of things going on, some I can share right now and some I will be excited to share in the future - so lets get into it!

Hi! I am so happy you are reading this! One of my goals this year was to write a blog post once a month, tied to no specific day of the month. We are in our third month of doing this and I am so excited to get into what has been happening!

This year really has come in full swing, and I just wanted to cover what I am up to. I have so many projects in motion personally and professionally that I am excited to share. Some are publicly available at the moment while some are still in the works. That being said let’s get into it!

This past December, I was invited to shoot photos at an Iowa Heartlanders game. As a huge hockey fan, I didn't hesitate to say yes. It was a chance not only to get on-ice experience but also to create some design work with my own photos afterwards!
