Recap, Owl Guardians & Another Album Art Commission
Hello everybody! I hope your year has started well, I know mine has kept me busy! Today I want to do a little recap on a large scale project that I just finished posting, talk about some illustrative series I have been spending a lot of time working on, and finish with a sneak peak as to what’s to come in the future!
First is Mixed Berry Skate Co, and maybe you are tired of hearing about it, but the entire project is officially published so I need to mention it one more time! The graphics, animations, illustrations and video are now publicly accessible between my Instagram and YouTube channel. Lucky for you the entire project is hosted on the portfolio page of my website, where you can check out everything in one spot. Below I will leave the video I made explaining the project, I hope you find time to check it out!
Next an ongoing project that I have only briefly talked about is called The 9th TCG. A fantasy based card game, inspired by many modern deck building cards games now. I am illustrating the entire initial release, which makes for a very large project that I will be working on for a long time!
You may remember the dragons I have posted about, each having predominately one color, yellow, red, blue, white & black. Well, now that the dragons are illustrated I need to illustrate their respective archetype of cards!
Which leads me to my point, I have been working on the yellow archetype a lot! This deck uses a variety of owl characters to find a way to defeat their opponents. While I would like to show you the finals, I need to wait until all seven are done being illustrated. So for the time being I will leave you the illustration below, which was a few short steps away from being finalized!
More to come! Stay tuned @the9thtcg on Instagram!
Lastly, my favorite things to work on are illustrating this card game, and the commissions I have been getting in the music industry. I would love to do either full time in the future. I love animating, illustrating and designing. My cup always feels very full upon completing album covers for artists. Successfully being able to visually communicate what they have composed for us always feels so good. It doesn’t just stop at the album cover either! Entire packages with animations and graphics are always such a fun part of the whole process. Below I will leave a little sneak peak as to what is to come in the future, as I have been commissioned for another cover. I won’t reveal the whole package yet, or even the name of the artist! You will just have to stay tuned!
As always, thank you for hanging out and reading this. Follow me on Instagram @cooper.judah.art for day to day updates. God bless. I will talk to you soon!
