Mixed Berry Skate Co, Owls and 2026

It is official! The skateboard project that I have been talk about for months is officially here! Mixed Berry Skate Co is my largest personal project to date. It all started with collecting my own assets, specifically attending skate competitions and collaborating with local skaters that I know personally, to collect a massive amount of photos to use throughout the project. I then came up with a name, inspired by the diversity of skateboarding I thought “Mixed Berry Skate Co” was fun and memorable! I developed the logos rather simply, with custom bold typography and a trio of circles as a badge or icon. Choosing red, blue and purple as the brand colors representing different popular fruits (strawberry, blueberry and blackberry). I then developed characters as a secondary logo, which would be the driving visual force behind the brand. Coming up with a tag line or motto was really fun, “Made To Bruise” was the result of that, and led the development of the graphics I came up with. The idea behind the stationary graphics specifically was to make labels for jam jars, I took my own photos of fruit to surround the outside of those graphics to make it look like the rest of the graphic is a label on the front of a jar. I then proceeded to make animations, put my graphics on t-shirts and boards and came up with a variety of other digital assets I hope you enjoy checking out! You can find it on my portfolio page or watch the YouTube video I made for it down below!

While Mixed Berry Skate Co has certainly taken up the most of the real estate in my brain lately there are a few things at work. First being that the biggest focus will shift to illustrating The 9th TCG. A trading card game I am involved in visually developing. The next chapter for that is illustrating an archetype of cards, the theme for this one being owls. While it will take the whole month for me to finish posting every piece of Mixed Berry, be looking for owl illustrations come February!

Another big thing is I have another album cover commission, which I am really excited for. I don’t want to say to much yet for nothing is certain! Just ideas and mental sketches. If you would like to see other album covers I have made you can check that out on my portfolio page, or check out the YouTube video I made below this!

2025 was full of fun, challenges, opportunities and growth. It makes me very excited for 2026! God bless!
